This election there are new rules for who can vote. My understanding is that you can vote wherever you pay rates - including both residential and business rates.
Check your own situation with the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).
If you're paying rates, you'll want them to be used wisely. More importantly, you'll want the location to be a nice place to be, for all sorts of reasons.
That means making an informed choice of who you want on Council, where strategic directions, policies and budgets are set.
